Oliver and Dad!

Here are some more pictures of Oliver and his daddy-O (We haven't taken any really with mom - cause she likes to take the pictures, we will get some though)

Oliver Bean Safford Lukens

We decided to go for a walk in the park on Tuesday the 22nd to see if we could get some labor started.



Then we headed home.

Labor started around 2pm on Tuesday the 22nd and progressed as it should with water breaking at 6pm then we were 4cm at 9:30pm so Brett got into the birthing tub we had set up in the dining room. Where she labored till just after 1:30am when it was time to push. The little one's heart rate was falling a bit so Brett got out of the tub and moved to the bedroom for 23 minutes of pushing and out he came with lungs blaring - didn't even need prompting.

Mom and Oliver are just getting the hang of breastfeeding, we are all learning about and napping and dad's been peed on twice during diaper changing.

So here we are two days later and we have an official name Oliver (Ollie for short) Bean (a Scottish name for lively) Safford Lukens.
We will update pictures and stories as they happen. Thank you to everyone who had us in their thoughts.

Hi everyone! I wanted to send this link out to everyone so you can have an update. No baby yet is the official update. We are all ready. The house is clean and there is food in the freezer and we have the tub for the birth all set up and ready to fill when labor starts. We'll add pictures as soon as we can!
